Costa Rican artist Ana Elena Fernández graduated at the Visual Arts School of the University of Costa Rica in 1986 and has been a member of the ACA (Costa Rican Watercolor Association) for over 16 years. Her collective exhibits include shows at the Costa Rican Art Museum, the National Gallery, the Sophia Wanamaker Gallery, the Cartago Museum, the José Figueres Gallery and the Central Bank Museums; and she has participated in exhibitions in Mexico, Colombia, Slovakia, Bangladesh, Italy, Japan and Russia.
