Artist Connie Baker spends much of her time painting the amazing tropical flowers, leaves and trees that have become her inspiration since moving to Costa Rica almost three years ago.
Connie started painting in acrylics about ten years ago, first taking drawing classes and later painting classes from accomplished local area artists in her hometown of Loveland, Colorado and later in North Carolina.
Exploring her own interpretations, her goal is to create strong images, incorporating clean lines, simplicity of form, using minimal detail and color.
