Oubaïda Azzouz

Born in Brussels and of Moroccan descent, Oubaïda grew up in a culture of mixed influence and developed a pronounced taste for the Orient.
With a fascination for drawing and illustration, Oubaïda was encouraged to enroll at the Sainte Marie Institute in Brussels, a specialized secondary school for visual and fine arts in Belgium. His art career launched quickly and within a short period of time had his first expositions.
But with his heart also leaning towards sport, Oubaïda branched out to performing arts where he achieved multiple championships in the Benelux Dance competitions, traveling throughout Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg.
Now in his new home in Costa Rica, Oubaïda explores new artistic expressions and perspectives. Always finding scenes that inspire him, with movement, emotion and capturing a unique moment, gives his creations an authenticity and energy symbolizing the vibration of the world.
